Write

It is one thing to change the world and another to tell the story. Professional writers can transform how the world responds to your book, brand, and business. Wise Ink Media’s writers can boost your site’s discoverability, write op-eds and articles to pitch on your behalf, and even partner with you to write your book.

The WriteWise coaching cohort is now open for applications for March-June 2024! This four-month program is designed to help authors define their audience, outline their book, and complete their first draft. With a combination of group and one-on-one calls with our cofounder Amy Quale, you will receive expert guidance and peer support.

writing for print

  • The best book writing coaches teach you how to be a writer and how to write a book—the mindset and the process. Wise Ink’s professional writing coaches work with authors one-on-one to cover how to write an outline, how to edit your book to entice your target readers, and how to overcome self-doubt and procrastination. An accountability partner with publishing industry knowledge is a gamechanger. Our writing coaches will meet you where you are in writing for your genre.

    • A nonfiction book writing coach will help you develop your book’s hook and thesis while positioning you as an industry expert and thought leader.

    • A memoir writing coach will help you organize key memories from your life into an overarching narrative that makes readers want to know what happens next.

    • A children’s book coach will help you write for your target age range, paginate your story, and make sure the text and illustrations work together without redundancies.

Our sessions entail thoughtful questions, exploratory discussions, agreed-upon assignments with deadlines, and recordings of each session to be revisited later. The first session includes a guided questionnaire to help uncover opportunities in your book idea. Each session typically takes one hour and the editor's time outside of the meeting for reviewing content.

  • The WriteWise coaching program is a four-month workshop designed to turn your book idea into a manuscript draft.

The WriteWise coaching program selects a small group of writers (there are only six spots available in the program) to join an intimate community. With compassionate and pragmatic support from an expert book coach, this structured yet organic program gives writers the tools they need to make great strides with their writing. The program focuses on content development and selection, goal setting, micro and macro structure, organization, voice, process, mindset, and more. The journey includes:

    • Four 1.5-hour group calls

    • Four 1-hour one-on-one calls with Wise Ink cofounder Amy Quale

    • Links to recordings of all calls for your ongoing use and learning

    • Custom-designed tools to guide and inspire you as you move through the writing process

    • An exploration of multiple paths to publishing
