Virtual Assistants
Starting at $25 / hour
We offer flexible schedules starting at 10 hours / month. We support our team with client onboarding, structured checkpoints, internal office hours, resources and templates, and prioritizing team wellbeing. We invest in part-time employees with regular training.
Examples of projects include:
Social media management
Newsletter management and/or setting up newsletter automation campaigns (with a focus on MailChimp)
Content creation for blogs, websites, and press releases
Market research, outreach, and follow-up for specialty resellers, social media influencers, media lists, events, and partnership opportunities
Design of basic marketing materials (bookmarks, press kits, sell sheets, etc.)
Ad campaigns on social media and Google
Kickstarter support
Website maintenance, including adding events, updating blog, etc. (with a focus on SquareSpace)
PowerPoint creation for presentations and speaking engagements
Submission to book awards
Event planning and management
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skillsets. In your application, please reference your experience in the following areas:
Canva
Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, and/or TikTok)
Newsletter platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, ConvertKit, Flodesk)
Amazon KDP, book promotion, and self-publishing
PhotoShop
Creative writing, preferably in a client’s voice
Social media advertising
PowerPoint
SquareSpace
Client management and customer service
Web Designers
Priced per project.
Ability to work within a site builder (like SquareSpace, WordPress, or Wix) where authors can update their own webpages is strongly preferred.
Must be a creative who enjoys working with authors, speakers, thought leaders, influencers, and entrepreneurs
Must have demonstrated experience creating visually engaging web pages with effective layouts
Preferred experience in UX and SEO

As support requests come in from authors, Wise Ink will pitch projects to freelancers based on their expertise. Team members are encouraged to only match with projects that feel like a good fit for their interest, skillset, and availability.
